Giant snook in Mexico’s Santa Rosa Lagoon.
Got this photo from Dan “Rooster” Leavens who runs Stonefly Inn and Outfitters in Twin Bridges, Montana. This lucky dude just got back from Mexico and is now guiding steelhead in coastal Washington. I’m starting to get a little pissed listening to his glory stories, only because I’m not part of them. But I’ll forgive and, besides, the photos are fun to look at. And this: Leavens asked if I would join him next year. Hell yea, I’ll join.
