Snowboarding in Montreal

I checked this out last night and I am seriously thinking about getting my bindings fixed, buying a helmet, and heading down to Lost Trail Pass to shred. I haven’t boarded in, like, three or four years, but I used to be ok. My legs are strong now because I’ve been riding a bike like mad so I should be good to go. Check this out and I think you might be tossing in the board and boots the next time you’re headed to fish, say the Missouri or the Big Wood, or or some other stream, with groomed mountains along the way.

Here’s a little teaser to the vid from Outside Magazine. Being stuck in the the city shouldn’t be used as an excuse for not going snowboarding, at least in Montreal. Snowboarder Sebastien Toutant proved that when he took to the slopes of Mount Royal to weave down trails, jump monuments, and slide down rails. The video was posted this past Saturday, three days after a December record 17-plus inches of snow fell in Montreal in less than 24 hours.

Greg, my plan for this spring is a day or two steelheadin on the Salmon, then a day or two at Lost Trails. Get that helmet and bindings fixed!
