I can spew info on Northwest steelhead all day, but I know my audience and some of you get to spend more time chasing chrome than I do, these days. I thought it might be interesting to know what your top tips are for Northwest steel. Share the wealth of the AT community. Bright fly/dark fly? Fish skaters? T-14 or death? The gut of the run or the tailout? Whiskey or beer? Ode to the fishing gods (you know how desperate we can become)? Early or late? Methow or John Day? Kispiox or Sustet? This could be fun so have fun with it. I’ll follow the comment thread and put a post together offering the most intriguing and possibly humorous comments. Thanks for your participation. Best set of suggestions gets a Tonic T-Shirt, either medium or large.
