 I don't know for sure. But I did see man stay on his freestone-river feet in a pair of old, well-worn New Balance running shoes. So I've got to give the dude credit. Especially because he didn't bitch. If it would have been my whimpering ass on the other end he'd have heard enough after day two and demanded a retreat from the woods.
