Time To Stop Doomscrolling

Been thinking about my Instagram addiction lately, and decided to write some thoughts on the subject. Put it together for House of Fly and ran it on through their blog. I think it’s worth reading if you, too, find yourself burning through some of those very early and productive morning hours or those treasured summer evenings, when you should be fishing . . . instead of thumbing your way through mostly garbage material. Really, is that what entertainment has become? I never walk away from a doomscrolling session feeling better about the world, or myself, and then I have to wonder, What, do I think I’ll live forever?  What could have been of those hours?

It’s difficult to not follow lemmings off the cliff, but I hope reading my post will at least make you consider what you might be sacrificing. So, give it a read and let me know what you think. Link to House of Fly below. Bonus: some pretty sweet Dean River British Columbia material included in the mix.
