Fast Float—West Fork Bitterroot

The water is still high in most of the northern Rockie’s drainages, but some are running relatively clear and offering decent fishing. The West Fork of the Bitterroot and the mainstem Bitterroot are good examples. Took a trip there on Wednesday and managed a few fish. As the water drops, these streams will get much betterand we knew we were pushing the envelope by launching rafts on the West Fork…but a guy has to fish, right? So we took our chances and kept attentive to the sticks. Thought you would enjoy these images.
